Obverse: Christ Pantokrator seated facing on throne; Reverse: Alexius standing facing, holding labarum and globus cruciger; manus Dei above, pellet on shaft, six pellets in loros end. Far better than typically encountered, this example displays a bold strike on each side, resulting in clear details and legends. The noted graffiti is hardly perceptible.
