NGC MS, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5. Svor-1499; SNG Cop-322. Obverse: Veiled head right, wearing stephanos and rams horn; lotus-tipped scepter in background, K to left; Reverse: Filleted double cornucopia, with grape bunches hanging at sides. One of the most alluring ancient specimens that one can encounter, this stunning "Mnaieion" of the deified Arsinoe II presents exceptionally high relief on the obverse, with the queen seemingly leaping off from the flan. Meanwhile, the reverse glistens with tremendous lustrous brilliance highlighting the razor sharp and expertly incised devices.
