CHINA. Sinkiang. Dollar, 1949. PCGS EF-45. L&M-842; K-1275; KM-Y-46 (for type). "One yuan" filled in; pointed-base "1" with short serif; year 38. This decently preserved example boasts a strong strike, though slightly weak in the centers, with signs of handling consistent for the grade. Light attractive gray tone with richer coloration amongst the devices add to its pleasing appearance. A pleasant coin from this normally crude series sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
