1793 Liberty Cap Half Cent. Head Left. C-4. Rarity-3. Good-4 (PCGS). A charming lower grade example of this scarce and desirable first-year half cent. Smooth, glossy surfaces with tan toning on the devices contrasted by deeper brown fields. Only trivial marks come to light under a glass and there is no trace of roughness. The surface quality and eye appeal are remarkable for the grade. The obverse detail is fully outlined and stands out boldly. The reverse is nicely defined for the grade as well, with everything visible except for AMERICA. An excellent choice for the budget-minded but quality-conscious collector.
