1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 56-n, W-5310. Rarity-1. Camel Head--Overstruck on a 1788 RR-16 Vermont Copper--Very Fine. 128.55 grains. Rather dark charcoal-copper surfaces are, however, pleasingly smooth overall with no significant blemishes. Generally bold New Jersey copper detail, although the date is only partially discernible due at least in part to less than perfect centering. Look to the lower right obverse and upper left reverse for boldest remnants of the undertype. Collector envelope with attribution notes included.
