The 1927-S Walking Liberty half dollar is a conditionally challenging issue with a mintage of 2,392,000 pieces. Like the 1923-S and 1928-S, the 1927-S was heavily circulated and can be elusive even in the lowest Mint State grades. Coins that approach the Gem Mint State level are scarce, and the present example is a significant find for the astute bidder.
