1915-D Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). Dusted with iridescent gold and pale silver toning, this handsome coin is fully lustrous with a smooth frosty texture throughout. Boldly to sharply struck, as well, and truly a delight to behold. The 1915-D is one of the more plentiful Barber half dollars in terms of total number of Uncirculated coins extant, but at the upper reaches of Gem Mint State, as here, examples are rare. From the Collection of Silas Stanley Roberts, 1888-1966.
