拍品描述： 1936 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-66+ (PCGS). A fully struck, sharply defined specimen dusted with light iridescent-silver toning, a splash of warmer charcoal-russet patina confined to the left reverse border. The first Proof half dollar struck in the United States Mint since 1915, and the first of the Walking Liberty design type, the popularity of the 1936 with todays collectors knows no bounds. This is also the key date issue among Proof Walkers, the mintage of 3,901 pieces lower than that of the other six issues in this brief Proof series. Eagerly sought at all levels of preservation.
