Undated Auctori Plebis Token. Uniface Obverse Strike. Breen-1152. Ornaments in Legend. VF-20 (PCGS). 102.4 grains. A high quality example of this rare uniface variety. There are two slightly different obverse dies used on examples of the Breen-1152 type. This coin features the obverse die more often seen on the Breen-1148 variety with HISPANIOLA reverse. Glossy medium brown surfaces that are attractive and problem-free. Weakly struck as always but there is only light wear. The finer of just two graded at PCGS. From the Norman G. Peters Collection.
