1794 S-44 R1 PCGS graded XF40. Glossy dark steel and chocolate brown. Possibly recolored but the toning is attractive and it passed muster at PCGS. The surfaces are smooth and the only marks are a few minor ticks on the neck near the hair. LDS, Breen state V early. The final crack from the Y to the brow is faint while the earlier cracks on both sides are clear. Our grade is VF25. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
