1794 S-32 R2 PCGS graded XF45+, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown and light olive blended with a faint hint of reddish brown on the reverse. The surfaces are smooth except for a hint of extremely faint granularity in the fields at the top of the reverse, and you need a strong glass to see any of it. The only mark, and it is quite faint, is a fine diagonal hairline over the numerator of the fraction. LDS, Breen state V, with a bold die crack through the first S in STATES to the O in ONE, and the left half of the upper part of that S is filled with a tiny cud break. Numerous sets of die clashmarks (6?) show on the reverse and there is a cud break in the dentils above LI in LIBERTY. A nice example of a neat die state. Graded VF25 net VF20 and tied for CC#18 in the Noyes census, his photo #37236. Our grade is VF30. The attribution and Husak provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
