CC-94. Continental Currency. January 14, 1779. $35. PMG About Uncirculated 55.No. 24763. Signed by Helms and Gray. Emblem of a plow in the field. Latin motto HINC OPES, which Newman translates "Hence our wealth." The new border cuts used THE UNITED STATES OF NORTH AMERICA. A two-color, odd-denomination note that was introduced as part of the eleventh and final Continental emission. A wonderfully original note that has the visual impact to have been considered for a better grade. It displays plentiful margins, bold inks, and fresh paper. A nice Continental that connotes a higher grade level.
