CHINA. Shanghai Ilbert & Co. Copper 10 Cash Token, ND (1904). PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. CCC-785; Prid-322. Obverse: "ILBERT & Co / SHANGHAI" around dragon; Reverse: "GREENWOOD & BATLEY LIMITED" around central monogram. Struck as a coinage trial for a 10 Cash coin. A pleasing example of the type, displaying strong detail through the designs and rich chocolate brown colored surfaces. A RARE type that is seldom seen in action.
