1940年代南京老方九霞十足赤金一盎司金币。 重31.09克。正面为建筑及狮子铸于盾上的设计，反面为布钱，底部有两行中文字。曾用作首饰，因而十分光亮，细节保存良好。此枚设计迷人，亦是我们唯一见过的一枚。<em>贵金属章牌作为民间储存财富的方式在三十年代开始广受欢迎。到了四十年代，许多本地金店会制作并销售自家品牌的章牌。此版由1946年开业的南京老方九霞银楼打铸。此类藏品于今年广受关注，一则因为其数量稀有，二则设计题材有趣，多与当地文化息息相关。</em>

Obverse: Building decorated with lion on shield motif; Reverse: Spade money with two lines of Chinese characters below. Brightened from extensive use in jewelry, but showcasing good detail. The only example of this attractively designed issue that we have seen.As a way for the public in China to preserve wealth, the creation of medallic bullion issues became popular in the 1930s, and by the 1940s, many local gold shops were making their own types to sell to their customers. This issue was struck by the Lao Fang Jiu Xiu Silver Building, which opened up operation in Nanking in 1946. While still in its infancy, this area of collecting has attracted interest in recent years, as the types available to collectors are almost universally scarce to rare and they often depict interesting or culturally significant scenes.
