福建私立华南女子文理学院四十週年服务金章。 重量：18.6克;直径：40毫米。正面：中心处山前的火炬，有两重外圈，第1个是英文，第2个是中文；背面：带有中文，下书1945年日期。在华惠德教授来华40週年之际，授予了这枚极其稀有和可能是唯一的奖章。该奖章由两片金片制作。儘管中央区域有明显的擦痕，以提高奖章的亮度，但所有细节依然保存完好。循道卫理公会的妇女外国宣教协会于1910年代在南台岛创立华南女子文理学院，最初是一所女子预备学校但后来发展成四年制大学，其第1届毕业生毕业于1921年。几十年来相对平静，直到第二次中日战争的开始改变了这一切。从1937年冬季开始，空袭警报不断。到1938年5月，学院决定迁至南平，距离岷江120英里的地方。在搬迁期间，距校园最近的主要城市福州被日本人两次佔领。当他们1946年返回时，校园已经遭到破坏。1951年，新中国政府将福建基督教大学与华南学院合併，成立了国立福建大学。今天，在又一次合併之后，该机构更名为福建师范大学（FNU）。

Obverse: Radiant torch in front of mountains at center with two outer circles, the first in English and the second Chinese; Reverse: several formations of Chinese text, 1945 date below. An EXTREMELY RARE and potentially UNIQUE medal type, awarded to Professor Hua HuiDe on his 40th anniversary of coming to China. Comprised of two sheets of gold struck first and then joined. All details remain, although the central fields show significant surface marks made with the intention of increasing the brightness of the medal.Founded in the 1910s by the Womens Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Hwa Nan College, located on Nantai Island, was first a preparatory school for women, but evolved into a four-year college, with its first graduating class being in 1921. Existing in relative tranquility for decades, the start of the second Sino-Japanese War changed all that, with constant disruptions from air raid alerts beginning in the winter of 1937. By May of 1938, it was decided to relocate the college to Nanping, a location that was 120 miles up the Min River. During their move, Foochow (today Fuzhou), the major city nearest the campus, was occupied twice by the Japanese. Upon their return in 1946, the home campus was devastated. In 1951, the new Chinese government merged the Fukien Christian University with Hwa Nan College to form the National Fukien University. Today, after another merger, the institution goes by the name Fujian Normal University (FNU).
