As opposed to the intense King Phillip scene crafted for the Wellstood imprints, this King Phillip is seated holding bow with title "Phillip of Mount Hope" using a more folk art rendition. Obtained by Peter Mayer there and sold in his Collection Part III sale by us in March 2015 for $1,175.Very minor India paper handling, but fresh and bright. The only other proof we handled from the series was the $30 (same pedigree, ABNCo: 1801 & Schingoethe Part VI) which we sold in the 52 Collection Part I sale for $3,737.50.
