MCMVII (1907) Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. High Relief. Wire Rim. Unc Details--Cleaned (PCGS). Sharp striking detail and warm medium gold patina provide relatively strong eye appeal for this more affordable Mint State example. Wispy hairlines and a somewhat matte-like texture explain the PCGS qualifier, but there are no sizeable marks, and the surfaces are fairly smooth in hand. A legendary issue from the early 20th century United States Mint, the High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagle of 1907 is a strong performer at all levels of preservation.
