1860-O Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-7. Rarity-2. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. Frosty surfaces are boldly to sharply struck throughout the design. Far finer than the typically encountered BU example of this issue -- which is brilliant with numerous detracting marks -- this coin is lightly and originally toned in iridescent pearl gray that conceals some of the grade-defining abrasions. Thanks to the generous Treasury Department silver dollar releases of 1962 to 1964, the 1860-O is one of the two most plentiful Liberty Seated issues of the No Motto type in Mint State (the other is the 1859-O). A strong candidate for inclusion in an Uncirculated type set. From the E. Horatio Morgan Collection.
