1860-O Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-5. Rarity-3. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. In the early 1960s, the Treasury released one or more bags of this date, as well as similar amounts of the 1859-O-dated silver dollar to the general public. It is unknown whether this example was from that hoard, but the surfaces are noticeably toned a very light battleship-gray color and a few scattered marks serve to limit the grade. An interesting and ideal type coin representative for a Mint State collection.
