Bearded, virtually full-length of German liberal of 1848 who became an American citizen, Civil War general, journalist, Senator and Secretary of the Interior and biographer of Henry Clay. A tiny incuse Latin motto sums up this exiles career, <em>VBI LIBERTAS IBI PATRIA</em>, Wherever there is Liberty, There is my Country. Rev. Nude youths gazing into sunlit sky.
