1902加州圣莱安德罗20美元 PMG VF 25
San Leandro, California. $20 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 653. The First NB. Charter #9800. PMG Very Fine 25.San Leandro of Alemeda County was home to three issuing banks, two of which issued large-size notes and a third issuing only 1929 dated pieces. This First National Bank is interestingly the most difficult which opposes typical trends. Prior to this unrecorded example, only three were shown in the Track and Price census. That trio comprises three 1902 $10 date backs which gives more importance to this $20 plain back offering. Still pleasing banking signatures remain and the overall condition is entirely problem free for the assigned PMG grade. One of the three $10 notes recently sold in a September 2018 sale and brought $11,400 in a PMG Very Fine 30 grade. One of a few rare California notes within this appealing selection of National Bank Notes.
