The central obverse is devoid of detail with the tree absent, but the beaded border and peripheral lettering is suitably sharp, allowing ready identification of this die. The reverse is uniformly bold with all design elements discernible, although the letters DOM are faint. ragged planchet flaw just before 12 oclock relative to the obverse, the NGC qualifier concerns several tiny digs in and around the centers that are more prevalent on the reverse. More affordable quality for this popular die marriage of the Oak Tree shilling.,,
