Reverse: Embossed advertisement in six lines, JOSEPH LIEBLER / TRUNKS / VALISES & / TRAVELING BAGS / 104 / WOOD ST. PITTSBURG PA. Nearly full silvering is intact on both sides, though the area close to the rims is deep olive brass. Lustrous and bright, and one of three known. One other is in a private collection, the third in the holdings at MHS.<p>Liebler was listed in directories at the above address from at least 1867 to 1872, sometimes as 104 to 106 Wood Street. He was also associated with Gilmore & Liebler, saddlers and trunk makers. In 1872 he was an agent for the Pittsburgh Trunk Factory.
