Unique MS-64 BN (PCGS).,Ample faded rose luster shines forth nicely through an overlay of warm medium brown patina. Struck from dies prepared either by Robert Lovett, Sr. or George Hampden Lovett using a bust punch attributed to Charles Cushing Wright. This medal is part of a series prepared at the request of Charles Ira Bushnell, most of which were unknown to the wider numismatic community until they appeared in the June 1882 sale of Bushnells collection.
