Due to the fact that there was a shortage of thick rag paper, the 1773 Ashby and then 1773 James River Bank Forms were pressed into service to fulfill circulating needs. Two examples graded About Uncirculated 55 have been seen by PMG. This is very high grade for this issue and denomination with excellent eye appeal. PMG comments "Minor Stains."
