CC-31. Continental Currency. May 9, 1776. $1. PCGS Currency Choice About New 58.No. 108509. Signed by Nicholas Garrison and John Howard. Emblem of a bowl atop an acanthus plant with the motto DEPRESSA RESURGIT which translates to "Though crushed it recovers" above. Printed in Philadelphia by Hall and Sellers, 1776. A very fresh note with sharp signatures and bold nature print on back. It appears a corner fold holds back a much better grade. We just sold a PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ for over $5,000.
