Glossy medium brown with a burst of faded orange near the 1792 date, and traces of soft blue and green iridescence in places. A nice example with COPY on the reverse not removed like on some seen. A desirable early coin dealer commission, struck by Robert Lovett, Jr. at the request of William Idler and a popular fill-in for the vastly rarer Getz pieces on which it was modeled.From the Richard August Collection.
