An EXTREMELY RARE and incredibly impressive offering, this type features as its obverse the familiar side-profile view of Yuan Shih-kai, here styled as the Hung-hsien emperor, and, as its reverse, the provocative flying dragon more commonly encountered on the tall hat Dollars of the same year. While said Dollars are very rare and immensely desirable in their own right, these gold denominations are simply that much more difficult to encounter and subsequently obtain, with the present specimen offering a high degree of shimmering brilliance across each side.
