Sharply defined devices were rendered from an exacting blow from the dies. While nearly 600,000 Sovereigns were struck, the vast majority of the mintage was consigned to the melting pot. Survivors are very few and in this lofty state of preservation, it is a real prize of Australian numismatics and worthy of a strong bid from the advanced collector.
