Surviving examples of any of the five denominations believed issued for this bank are extremely rare. The DP reference only images a proof of this denomination. The Banco de Antioquia was founded in 1872 in Medellin. Its manager was Recaredo de Villa. A single series of notes was prepared, printed by Perkins, Bacon & Co.
