Clearly paralleling the "hammer & sickle" Soviet star Dollars, this fantasy presents a familiar design, though one from a soviet not known to have issued coinage--that of Fukien-Chekiang-Kiangsi, which only issued paper money in 1930 and 1932-34. A few lightly scattered marks are present around the denomination, but this specimen otherwise provides deep toning in the fields--an aspect that contrasts well with the characters and devices. <strong>VERY RARE</strong> and important, even with its fantasy status.From the KL Collection.
