Pen cancelled as usual, but overall a nice example of this scarce issue from the Hudsons Bay Company issued at their York Factory trading post in Manitoba. A rare survivor from Canadas Frontier, these are heavily collected but examples are very scarce. A census conducted by Michael H. Ryan and published in 2021/2 in the Canadian Paper Money Society Journal lists this date as his variety 28a and states that there are just two examples of this date combination in private hands.
