1886 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-67 (PCGS). CAC.This is a fully struck, expertly preserved specimen that would accept nothing less than a Superb Gem grade. It is also a wonderfully original coin, as expected from the Millholland cabinet, with bold and slightly varied toning to both sides. One of the more eagerly sought Proofs in the Liberty Seated quarter series, the 1886 is associated by date and issuing mint with a circulation strike issue that saw just 5,000 coins struck. Proof mintage for the date is 886 pieces, and the present survivor is far finer than most.PCGS# 5587.
