1823/2 Matron Head Cent. N-1. Rarity-2. EF-45 (PCGS). OGH.An endearing piece with a two-tone appearance on both sides. The dominant patination is deep brown in color, the right third of the obverse and lower right reverse border with lighter golden-brown toning. Overall detail is sharp for the assigned grade, and accuracy alone compels us to mention a few light surface marks on the obverse and faint hairlines in the center of the reverse.
