CHINA. Hupeh. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1909-11). NGC EF-45. L&M-187; K-45; KM-Y-131; WS-0881. Variety with raised swirl on fiery pearl and without dot within Manchu script. This gently circulated example displays rich slate gray patina with a slight iridescent sheen that pops out when rotated in the light. The devices are bold, and the surfaces are smooth with even wear primarily contained to the high points and exposed fields. An attractive example of the type that is pleasing to the eye and would make a nice addition to many collections.
