SC-158. South Carolina. February 8, 1779. $90. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ. No. 5822. Signed by John Scott, Theodore Gaillard, Jr., and Plowden Weston. The face shows a warrior at left. Latin motto ARMISA CONCURRITE CAMPO, which Newman translates "Assemble the field of arms." Back vignette of Hercules strangling the Nemean Lion.
