1817 N-6 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Red & Brown. Lustrous light olive and bluish steel with generous traces of mellowed mint red remaining visible in protected areas on both sides. A cent with excellent eye appeal. The notable marks are a spot of slightly darker reddish brown toning low on the neck and a smaller one at the bottom of the curl above the 17. MDS. The fields are flowlined but most of the dentils remain visible on both sides. Our grade is MS60, but it has the eye appeal of a higher grade. Housed in an older generation PCGS holder.
