1928 Hawaiian Sesquicentennial. Hawaiian. MS-64 (PCGS). Mottled golden-tan toning intermingles across this shimmering and delicately toned near-Gem. Boldly struck and minimally abraded. The Hawaiian type is the most elusive within the classic silver commemorative series. It is scarcer than the similar-mintage Hudson and Spanish Trail, partly due to its earlier date, but mostly because half of the production was reserved for the territory of Hawaii.
