1920 Pilgrim Tercentenary. FS-901. Reverse Die Break. MS-67 (PCGS). An original and heavily lustrous Superb Gem. The complexion is pearlescent and accented by lavender and peach patina across each side. These dies are both heavily fatigued, showing a network of cracks throughout the legends on both sides. This FS-901 variety is most remarkable for an arcing die break that spans the right side of the ships central mast nearly from top to bottom. The present example is one of the very finest known, ranking at the very top of the PCGS Population in this category. Ex Legends sale of September 2019, lot 532.
