拍品描述： 1797 (ca. 1805) Sansom Medal. Original. White Metal. 40.6 mm. Musante GW-58, Baker-71B, Julian PR-1. MS-62 (PCGS). An attractive specimen with much of the original bright surface remaining. The devices are satiny in texture and contrast nicely with the more reflective fields. There are no significant handling marks or edge nicks. A superior quality example both for the type and the assigned grade, fit for any cabinet. This is a later impression from these dies with evidence of extensive rust in the fields on both sides.
