1895年9月寄上海无票挂号封, 盖清晰紫色方框型 "挂号/ 号码…." 并以红墨水写 "a" 字作为挂号号码, 信背盖9月17日上海书信馆日戳及邮务员手写记录. 来自福州的所有挂号信都非常珍罕, 尤其这是唯一记录的公文封.Foochow Official Mail 1895 (Sept.) stampless envelope registered to de Villard in Shanghai bearing a good strike of the boxed "<H>registered/no. ..." handstamp in mauve with large manuscript "a" in red ink for the registration number, the reverse with Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (17.9) and the postmans pencil delivery characters. A fine and highly desirable cover. All registered mail from Foochow is very scarce and this is the only recorded Official cover. Photo
