拍品描述： Circa 1849 Birth Centennial medal by C.C. Wright. Uniface. Wright and Bale mark partly effaced. Musante GW-128-T2, Baker-75C. White Metal. MS-62 (PCGS).44.9 mm. 774.9 grains. Struck on a nice thick flan measuring 4.9 mm at the rims. Uniform light pewter gray surfaces with a few light hairlines on the obverse and some slight handling roughness at the center of the vulnerable and fragile reverse field. A bit reflective on this side as well. Well struck with fine finishing lines in the fields left from the refurbishing of the die. Slight spalling noted on the portrait, and to a lesser degree, in some areas of the fields. This piece was struck before the next two.Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
