Circa 1834 Par Nobile Fratrum medal by Wright and Bale. Musante GW-142, Baker-197. Silver. MS-64 (PCGS).27.3 mm. Mottled rose and blue iridescence in the obverse fields while the motifs are deeper steel gray. The reverse is lighter overall, with pale gray silver accented by mottled blue and violet in the central fields. Sharply struck and highly reflective. A few light hairlines are noted in the obverse field. A desirable medal likely struck as a memorial to the recently deceased Lafayette.
