拍品描述： (Homer), Texas. County of Angelina. October 2, 1862. 50 Cents. Good.(Medlar Unlisted) Serial number 26 at top center. "Confederacy VICTORY OR Death!" in left end panel. The County of Angelina promised to "pay to the Bearer in Confederate Notes, Fifty Cents, when warrants to the amount of $20 are presented." A very rare series and a denomination we have not encountered before now. A great Civil War era note with Confederate themes and broad crossover appeal.
