Top center, farm couple and rather cozy, men work in the background. Identical ends, cameo heads in the center. Extraordinary and discovery high denomination proof from West Chester in the 1990 ABN Sale. Like the $1000 also in this sale the signature panels have been cut out. The only other example we have seen realized $6,462.50 in our March 2014 Baltimore auction. While we dont expect to see a number quite approaching that this is still a highly desirable Pennsylvania proof rarity.
