Very Fine.This lot contains the following two bonds. <p>1) State of New York, Saint Nicholas Bank. 45 Shares issued on April 15th, 1862. No. 1413. Durand Type I Santa Claus Vignette at top center. Some damage to the top center margin, top left corner and lower right corner are seen. An excessively rare stock certificate which was last sold in R.M Smythe 1998 Strasburg auction where Dottie acquired it. <p>2) Specimen of the National Rockland Bank of Boston. Stamped in red SPECIMEN at President signature panel. A light red stamp "Return to RECORD & SPECIMEN DEPT." is located at top right. Durand Type I Santa Claus Vignette at top center.
