Haxby describes circulating notes from this bank as having been printed but never issued to the bank and it was surmised that all were destroyed. Only proof examples were listed in the prolific reference. This wonderful $1-$2 uncut pair comes printed with black border prints, title and vignettes with green tinted security prints and counters. Each note is seen with blue printed serial number 0848. We have handled only proof examples of the $1 denomination. The green tints on this sheet are vibrant with all of the design elements seen in sharp detail. The paper is crisp and displays only light handling.
