1832 Matron Head Cent. N-3. Rarity-1. Large Letters. MS-64 BN (NGC).Abundant cartwheel lustre overwhelms both obverse and reverse, and emphasizes the overall stunning preservation. The surfaces are pleasing golden brown, frosty and appealing, with a hint of blue-olive toning. A strong double profile is seen, reverse slightly rotated clockwise about 30 degrees. Some softness of strike with only the last few stars showing full centers as often seen for this date. Only minor scattered marks are present, and a speck of darker patina at the lower right leaves wreath serves as a convenient pedigree marker. Noyes Die State B/B with light flowlines throughout. A very pleasing example. From the Paradise Collection.
