P-S546a.This series is rarely encountered and this is a fascinating 1900 Provisional overprinted issue on an early Perkins, Bacon style note. Small format, printed in blue on the face and orange on the back. The note is quite soiled and the back is now light. Noted with rust and we note this has uniformly trimmed edges. Any note from this bank is significant and the two issued notes in the first Eldorado sale garnered meritorious attention.
