Sellersville, Pennsylvania. $10 1875. Fr. 420. The Sellersville NB. Charter #2667. PMG Very Fine 30 Net. Repaired. The Sellersville National Bank was chartered early in 1882 and went on to issue nearly $2 million in circulating notes through the end of the National Currency era. While there are currently 25 large notes reported on this bank, just 5 of those are First Charter notes. This Series of 1875 $10 comes lightly circulated and broadly margined. The printed inks are bold and the penned signatures of bank officers Day and Fretz are well presented and clearly legible. The repair mentioned by the grading service appears to be in the bottom margin at left and does not detract from this notes great aesthetic appeal.
